Class 1, Division 2 A/C Fill System

The next round of refrigerant replacement is coming fast. The R-134A mobile a/c market is targeted first, with residential refrigeration following close behind. Current replacement options include iso-butane (R-600a), propane (R-290), and the still waiting for approval, HFO-1234yf. The closest to being a drop-in is HFO-1234yf, which is a synthesized R-134A.

All these options have one thing in common when it comes to charging. All have been classified as flammable and will require a Class1, Division 2 explosion proof environment at the charging station. Serv-I-Quip’s new Hydrocarbon / HFO-1234yf Charging Systems comply with these requirements while providing the same proven a/c test and filling technology standard in our DataFill and AccuFill systems.
